This short bus has been modified to the ultimate tailgating machine. Now it’s the complete gameday package with an audio system from CSD Audio. A Pioneer in-dash receiver with USB iPod control provides power to the Pioneer speakers throughout the bus. Also, a set of Yamaha outdoor speakers can be connected and placed around the bus during tailgating parties, or mounted on top to listen to the announcers call the race at NASCAR tracks around the country.

Flip Men Season 2 – The Bet
The Flip Men are at it again. This time CSD was asked to add TVs throughout the home. Also, they added an amazing deck with a great view of the salt lake valley. This thing is perfect for partying so they added a hot tub and CSD installed 4 outdoor speakers to provide the soundtrack, controlled via a wireless iPod dock.

Single DIN to Double DIN conversion 99 Ford Mustang
Owners of the 99-01 mustang no longer have to be jealous of the newer models that already have a double DIN opening. With some clever fabircation CSD updated the tech in this ride adding iPod connectivity with ap mode, bluetooth hands free calling & streaming audio, cd, USB, and DVD all controlled through a 5.8″ touch screen. Our friends at Liquid Innovations added the finishing touches with custom Hydrographics.
Custom dash for 07 Mercedes GL450
This SUV needed a major technology update. A Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT was swapped in giving this Merc navigation, Bluetooth, iPod video, Pandora, USB, and DVD. A custom, one off, dash bezel was fabricated to make this new receiver look right at home in the dash. The rear screens were tied in with the front and factory back-up camera was retained as well. The stock speakers were also retained but the power output was upped to over 500 watts!
Older cars need love too
Andy was about to drive this newly restored VW Vanagon AWD to Colorado and on to Massachusetts and we couldn’t let him make the journey with a tape deck and blown speakers! This 25 year old van received a technology upgrade including CD player with iPod, USB & Bluetooth. The front doors were modified to accept 5.25″ speakers (up from 4″) and the rear speakers were also upgraded with Pioneer’s D Series coaxials with Basalt Technology.
In addition to sound upgrades, we made this VW a much quieter environment to enjoy long drives with the thorough application of sound deadening material down the length of vehicle. Check out the video below to see the substantial difference. This Vanagon went from the acoustics of a tin can to the quiet ride of a Lexus!
Steve & Sylvia’s Home
This beautiful South Jordan home came pre-wired for sound and television throughout the entire home as well as a dedicated Home Theater room in the basement. A Mitsubishi 55″ LED TV was mounted above the fireplace along with several other flat panels in several rooms of the home. 24 in-ceiling speakers were installed throughout the home and are controlled by keypads with LCD screens in each of the rooms. Downstairs in the theater, we used a 106″ fixed wall screen and a Knoll projector. Signal comes via a Pioneer Blu-Ray player and 7.1 channel receiver that upscales all sources such as Wii or Xbox360 to full HD. Jamo on-wall speakers supply the mid & high frequencies in the room and a Velodyne 12″ subwoofer provides impactful bass.
Rockin’ Rock Crawler
Misty loves her music. We loaded this Jeep up with all the latest and loudest components from Pioneer. The control center of this system is Pioneer’s AVH-P6300BT with built in DVD, iPod Video playback, Ap Mode and Bluetooth hands free phone, GEX-P920XM module, and ND-BC4 back-up camera. Under the rear seat, we stashed two Pioneer amplifiers, the GM-D7500M pushes two JL Audio 10″ W3v3 subs and GM-D9500F to power the D-Series 5-1/4″ components in the front and coaxials in the sound bar above. This jeep is the complete package and absolutely rocks!
JR’s Porsche Carrera
JR’s Posche Carrera 4
We’re just gettin started with this one here, folks. First off, we added an AVH-P3300BT in dash multimedia receiver to update the technologoy in this porsche. The 3300BT adds DVD, iPod video, USB, SD playback as well as syncs with your smartphone via Bluetooth. In-Car connectivity at its finest. It even has an ‘ap mode’ feature to allow you access to many of your iPod/iPhone applications through the CD-IU50v cable. To get this new unit to fit, the dash had to be modified, climate controls relocated and custom trim bezel was fabricated to make this new unit look like it came that way from the factory. Up next, JR plans to add a 13″ woofer behind the back seat to provide this sporty coupe the low bass that the factory Bose system just can’t provide. Stay tuned!
**Update 09/08/2011**
We added the subwoofer today and totally transformed the Bose system into something quite impressive. While we could have gone with a fiberglass molded enclosure, budget was a concern so I designed a simpler version built entirely of MDF and finished with black carpet and factory matched tan vinyl. Very simple, very clean, and great sound.
